_Doonbank Cottage

Doonbank Cottage is an amazing wildlife site. The woodland contains deer, rabbits, squirrels, pheasants, partridges, quails, owls, herons, ducks, a wide variety of finches and tits, plus many more species.

The River Doon itself supports and attracts a wide range of wildlife, including king fishers and both salmon and trout.

Both the pheasants and partridges are regular visitors to the cottage and enjoy breakfast with us.
