The splendid
clubhouse sits yards from the shoreline which is
lapped by waters warmed by the Gulf Stream and the
finely manicured course offers year round golf on a
firm and generally frost-free footing.
The Club and its
course are well regarded in Scottish golfing
circles and, to reflect this, 2007 saw the Club
host the Scotland v England (under 16) Boys
International and the West of Scotland Ladies
Inter-County Championship.
In 2008 St
Nicholas was one of the three courses (the others
being Kingsbarns and Dunbar) selected to host
rounds in the inaugural Linksland Series
Championship for Scottish Young Professionals. 2009
saw the Club acting as host to the finals of the
Scottish Club Championship and, again, to one of
the rounds of the Linksland Series Championship for
Scottish Young Professionals.
