In return for not charging for your pets we expect you to leave the cottage at the end of your holiday as if your pets had not been staying there. By accepting our terms and conditions, you have agreed to:
Using guest towels to clean dogs is not acceptable. Dogs must not be left alone in the cottage unless permission has previously been sought from ourselves and then only on the strict understanding that you believe that the dogs will not damage the cottage or cause a nuisance (excessive barking, howling, etc). Damage will be charged at the following rates and will be deducted from the deposit.
As owners you are expected to keep your dog/s under close control while staying at Doonbank Cottage, so not to cause a nuisance to others. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your holiday party are aware of these requirements. If there is more than one dog owner in the party it is essential that he/she also feels that his/her dog is suitably well behaved and that they read and agreed to this dog policy. We are sorry to have to enforce this policy. However it is designed to guard against a very small minority of dog owners who have not behaved responsibly in the past. If you do stay at the cottage, please do send us pictures of your pets so we put them on this page. ![]() |
